These Terms govern your use of skbeautyacademy.com and its courses and services. By using the site or buying a course, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by Safaa Kandil, under an individual commercial registration, trading as SK Beauty Academy, based in Cairo, Egypt. We offer online beauty courses taught in Arabic. “We” in these Terms means the academy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use the site or buy from it, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission if you are under the legal age in your country.

3. Your account and Google Sign-In

You need an account to access courses. Give accurate details and keep your password private. Your account is for you alone.

If you sign in with Google, Google may share your name and email address with us, depending on what you allow. Your use of Google’s services is subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these Terms.

5. Courses and access

  • Courses are delivered online and taught in Arabic, in the Egyptian dialect.
  • A course is unlocked in your account as soon as payment is confirmed. It stays available to you with no time limit for as long as the course is available on the academy’s platform, as set out in our Delivery Policy.
  • We may update or improve course content from time to time, without materially reducing what the course page described when you bought it.
  • If we decide to retire a course, we will tell enrolled students by email with reasonable notice.

6. Certificates

For courses that include a certificate, it is issued once you meet the requirements set out on the course page and in our Delivery Policy. The certificate is issued in English, in the name you enter in English on your account. You are responsible for that name being correct.

A certificate confirms completion of an online training course with the academy. It is not a professional license or a government-accredited qualification.

7. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown on each course page before you buy.
  • You pay in Egyptian pounds in Egypt and in US dollars elsewhere, based on the billing country you enter at checkout.
  • Any launch price or offer shows its end date clearly on the course page.
  • Payments are processed by Kashier. We don’t store your card details on our site.
  • Installment payments (valU or Souhoola) are an agreement between you and the installment provider, under its own terms.

8. Agreement at checkout

Before you pay, you are asked to agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy and our Delivery Policy. We keep the time of your agreement on your order record.

9. Refunds

Because you get access to the course immediately, all sales are final, with two exceptions: you were charged more than once for the same course, or you couldn’t access the course because of a technical problem on our side that we couldn’t fix within 7 days of your report. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

10. Content you upload

When you upload photos, videos or text to the site, such as your graduation project:

  • You confirm you have the right to upload it, and the consent of anyone who appears in it, including your model.
  • You give us a limited permission to store and display it only as needed to provide the service, such as the instructor reviewing your work and adding her notes.
  • We won’t use your work in marketing or publish it without your separate permission.
  • You must not upload anything unlawful, infringing or abusive.

11. Intellectual property

All course videos, text, images and materials, and the academy’s logo, belong to the academy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may watch them for your own learning only. You may not copy, record, republish, sell or share them without our written permission.

12. Prohibited uses

You must not:

  • Share your login details, or give anyone else access to a course
  • Record, download or distribute course videos by any means
  • Use the site for anything unlawful
  • Try to access accounts that aren’t yours, or disrupt or overload the site
  • Upload malicious code
  • Harass, threaten or impersonate others

13. Third-party services

We rely on service providers to run the site, such as payments, video streaming, hosting and email. Each has its own terms and policies.

14. Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. It may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

15. Suspension of your account

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, in particular by sharing your account or distributing course content. In that case your access to courses ends without a refund. You may stop using the site at any time.

16. Limitation of liability

Courses are educational, and your results depend on your own practice, so we don’t guarantee any particular outcome. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer protection law.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and the Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

18. Language

These Terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two differ, the Arabic version prevails.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new date. Each purchase is governed by the Terms in force when it was made.
