This policy explains what data we collect when you use skbeautyacademy.com, and how we use and protect it. The person responsible for your data is Safaa Kandil, who operates the site as SK Beauty Academy, based in Cairo, Egypt.
1. What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, and the name you enter in English to appear on your certificate. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, depending on what you allow.
Purchase details: the billing details you enter at checkout, such as name, email, phone number and country, plus the payment status and reference number. You enter your card details directly on Kashier’s payment page; we don’t store them on our site.
Your approximate country: worked out from your IP address, so we can show prices in the right currency.
Your learning activity: your enrollment date, the lessons you watch and complete and when, and the time you agreed to our terms at checkout.
What you upload: photos, videos or text you submit, such as your graduation project, and the instructor’s notes on it.
Your messages to us: what you send us by WhatsApp or email.
Technical data: device and browser type, pages you visit, and cookies.
2. How we use your data
- To create your account and give you access to courses
- To process payments, prevent fraud and show the right price for your country
- To review your graduation project and issue your certificate
- To answer your questions and give you support
- To send important service messages about your account and purchases
- To send marketing messages, such as new course dates; you can unsubscribe at any time
- To keep proof that you received the service, if a payment is disputed
- To analyze site performance and improve our ads, with your consent where required
- To comply with the law
3. Cookies
We use cookies that the site needs to work, such as for login, the cart and security. We may also use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, and will ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
4. Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only as far as needed with the service providers we rely on:
- Payments: Kashier, and installment providers such as valU and Souhoola when you choose to pay in installments
- Video streaming: Bunny.net
- Website hosting: our hosting company, plus security and backup services
- Email: Zoho Mail for support messages, and MailPoet for marketing messages
- WhatsApp support: WhatsApp, owned by Meta
- Sign-in: Google, if you sign in with Google
- Analytics and advertising: Google and Meta, once these tools are enabled
We may also disclose data if required by law or a competent authority, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.
5. Transfers outside Egypt
Some of our service providers operate outside Egypt, so your data may be processed or stored in other countries. We choose reputable providers and aim to comply with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
6. How long we keep data
- Account details and learning activity: for as long as your account exists.
- Order and payment records: at least 18 months, or longer if the law requires it.
- What you upload: for as long as your account exists; you can ask us to delete it once your certificate has been issued.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.
When we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Your rights
You can ask to:
- See the data we hold about you
- Correct or update your data
- Delete your data, except what the law or our obligations require us to keep
- Withdraw your consent, where our processing is based on it
- Object to the use of your data for marketing

9. Marketing messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time, using the “unsubscribe” link in the message or by contacting us. We will still send important service messages about your account and purchases.
10. Minors
The site and its courses are intended for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from younger people without their parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you know of such a case, contact us and we’ll take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new date.
